Today's post is dedicated to one of my favorite books of all time! The Great Gatsby! You won't have to read it until eleventh grade, but I would suggest reading it before they make you (the increases level of enjoyment significantly)

Not only is it a great book, it is being turned into a movie. There was a film adaptation a while ago but Baz Luhrmann is directing a film set to come out Christmas 2013 starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Isla Fisher, Joel Edgerton, Tobey Maguire, and Carrey Mulligan. My real fascination is with Carrey Mulligan. She is such an amazing actress and has done some really amazing films and she is the lead for Great Gatsby!

Another great thing about this book is that it is set in the twenties! I LOVE the twenties! Also, it isn't just the twenties-but the twenties in New York! What's not to like?
A store called Unique Vintage has even made a collection of Flapper clothes in honor of the movie! Here are some of my favorite styles!
