Modern Mom!

So... I have a confession...

I follow a series of videos on YouTube called Modern Mom. I was looking for this leg/waist workout on youtube and I came across these easy, quick workouts! They are in videos of about four minutes, are hard enough to be an actual workout, and I get to do it without ever leaving my dorm room. Also, they are led by Brooke Burke-Charvet (the Dancing with the Stars host) which is kind of funny.

So I feel kinda silly doing them of course, but they really work and I highly recommend them!

Rain Rain go away.

It's been disgusting and rainy and rather uninspiring here in Auburn. 

I recently read on HelloGiggles that never feeling prepared for the weather is a sign that you are living in the wrong town. While I know that Auburn is the wrong town for me, but there is nothing like wet, goopy weather to remind me. 

I'm 100% ready for the weekend and 1000% ready for summer.

The Lion King!

As you may know, the crew I usually hang out with here in Auburn wanted to do something special as a graduation present for Brady who has been awesome to us! Since Brady loves musicals, we are going to take him to a show at the Fox and dinner at the Melting Pot and we have finally picked a date to do that - April 26! It's right after classes end and it should be a lot of fun..the only awkward thing is that we waited so late we won't be sitting together at the actual show. Not the biggest deal, but still kinda weird! Oh well, we've all laughed about it and decided it would still be worth it! I can't wait to go!

2 Golds for the Ole US!

It's only day 2 of the Olympics, but I'm already hard core into the stats (just like I am for almost every other sport.)

Last night, Ashley Wagner did an awesome performance as did US Ice dancers Meryl Davis and Charlie White. However, I think Ashley Wagner was definitely robbed a few points on her routine. She seemed to be competing at the level of the top three and I simply think the score was too harsh.

Either way, the US as already scored two gold metals! One for Sage Kotsenburg in Men's Slopestyle Snowboarding and one for Jamie Anderson in Ladies Slopestyle Snowboarding!

We also currently have a bronze from Hannah Kearney Ladies Moguls!

We are currently tied for most gold metals with Norway and the Netherlands!

A great revalation!

Yesterday I realized something great - my computers class doesn't take attendance and is super easy online work...meaning I don't actually have to go to class! I've noticed being practically the only one in class and then my roommate who has already had that class explained the situation!

Also, I heard a commercial for the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Art and that is one place I haven't applied! So I guess I'll just keep applying!

May 7!

May 7 is the most wonderful day because THAT IS THE DAY I WILL BE REUNITED WITH MARGOT AND THE NUCLEAR SO AND SO'S - the most perfect band in the history of the world!

I'm beyond thrilled!

Bowl Banquet video.

I've been meaning to post this for a while, but here is video that kind of wraps up what we did in band this year - the end part that honors the seniors always makes me so sad, but I love the song. It's sad and sweet and the perfect sendoff song for the seniors.
