Last semester I had no issue wearing my Nike shorts to class. However, this semester, I have several professors who look down on girls who wear work out shorts. I think they only dislike the most common type of shorts - the tempo track shorts.
For Christmas, Mammy and Grandman gave me some Nike shorts that were kind of different and they have become my favorites! They are still comfy like Tempo Track shorts, but they don't come with the negative connotation.
Here are some other styles I like.
P.S. Nike is on the brain because my tennis shoes still haven't come in yet! Come on, shoes! Hurry up!
It's the end of the school year and I'm absolutely scraping for motivation to even get up in the morning or eat. I think I need a weekend now more than I have all semester. Also, the motivation needs to pick up fast because I have a very important quiz Thursday and a very important paper due on Friday.
Reasons I shouldn't have even bothered getting out of bed today...
1. Professor uses the term "less well"
2. Professor constantly misuses the word "impact" in about every sentence.
3. Guy who sat beside me in said professor's class smelted like a stink bomb.
4. English class.
Also, I quite possibly pinned 100 things today. yeah...that kind of day.
Yesterday Philip and I did one of our favorite things - drove through neighborhoods and looked at houses! We are both design nerds and like to see the different neighborhoods and architecture!
We came upon one house that we both immediately deemed the coolest house ever. It's kind of hidden behind the plants and trees in the front yard but is really homey and welcoming! Also, it is in a nice neighborhood, but the house doesn't look showy, just pretty. Although I don't see myself staying in Auburn past college, I decided this morning to do some stalking of the house.
you can't see it in this picture, but it's in the bottom left corner!
there's the roof!
Here is what Google helped me find out...
-there is a golf course in the back yard
-built in 2004
-there is air conditioning
-the roof is made of asphalt
-the neighbors have a fountain in their front yard
-these people are very private, there are pictures of almost every other house in the neighborhood if you google. oh well.
-it's a little expensive
Since Philip will be leaving for Taiwan in just a few weeks, I've been getting really excited about it for him! There are some really cool things there and traveling in general is just the best! Doesn't it look pretty?
